St. James Hotel, Cimarron, New Mexico
The St. James Hotel is located in the heart of northeastern New Mexico's Old Santa Fe Trail country, where opportunities abound for hiking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, wild life viewing, photography, birding and star gazing. At 6,542 feet elevation, Cimarron is flanked by the eastern slope of the Sangre de Cristo mountains which meet the vast plains extending to the east, offering vistas of incomparable beauty. Our climate is know for its clean air, blue skies, low humidity and sunshine.
By automobile, Cimarron is approximately 3.5 hours from Albuquerque, 2.5 hours from Santa Fe, 1 hour from Taos, 4 - 5 hours from Denver, and 4 hours from Amarillo. Highway 1-25 and NM 64 and NM 58 provide access from the east; NM 64 via Taos and Angel Fire approach from the west. We are located on NM 21 just about a half mile south of the intersection with NM 64 in Cimarron.
